Electric Powered Minibus for Dial-A-Ride - 11th January 2010



Redditch Council has been trailing an electric powered Minibus, which has been transporting Dial-A-Ride customers across Redditch during the autumn.

The vehicle is a Peugeot Expert Eurobus and was made in partnership with Allied Electric.

The use of an electric powered vehicle as opposed to a conventional petrol or diesel powered one will help to significantly lower carbon emissions.

Dial a Ride offer affordable travel around Redditch for people who cannot use Public Transport.

Dial-A-Ride operates from Monday to Friday and the first pick is at 8.45pm and the last pick-up is at 4.20pm visit the website for further information about the service.
